You can’t restore an iPhone X backup to an iPhone 6 because the iPhone 6 cannot be updated to a new enough iOS version. However, you can sync content from the X to iCloud, then sync iCloud to the iPhone 6.

This is not possible.

The iPhone 6 is so old, it cannot run an iOS version greater than iOS 12.X. The iPhone X runs a much newer iOS version. You cannot restore an iOS backup to an older iOS version device.
