Saving an iMovie to my desktop

Hello, I just finished a my first iMove and I need to know how to download it to my desk top as an MP4 or some useable video format

With the project open, click on the little share button (the box with the upward pointing arrow in it) located at the upper right hand corner of your screen. That will display a option box that contains your share options. Click on File. Then follow the screens that appear to enter your settings and select your destination (i.e, desktop). Click the in the bottom right of the box to share your movie to your desktop.



Another way is to do a File/Share/File from the iMovie menu.
