How to connect Elgato Streamdeck to Logic Pro

There are oodles of videos on Youtube about how to configure your Streamdeck settings once you have already connected it to Logic, but not one on how to create an Instance with Logic using a Logic module. I use Streamdeck regularly with other programs so I know it well, just need to figure out how to connect it to Logic. And yes I have Googled this extensively and found nothing, which is why I posted it here.

For some reason, Streamdeck has super simple steps in the GUI to connect to dozens of other kinds of software, but not Logic. Is there some kind of software feud here that I'm not aware of between Elgato and Apple?

Github is a complete mystery to me. I can't figure out how to access these files or what to do with them.

Is there anyone here who knows Logic and Streamdeck? This seems like a really easy setup. Any help much appreciated.
