Upgrading from El Capitan

I have an iMac 7.1 with El Capitan, 1TB new hard drive. My question is how do I upgrade from El Capitan to Sierra etc. Nothing works from the app store.

iMac, OS X 10.11

You can't. An iMac7,1 isn't capable of Sierra or above.
