Photo Booth Version 9.0 (904)
If I am lucky I can record 2-3 mins of video before this crashes or freezes everything.
Normally I would junk the app, and re-install but I don't see how to do that.
Is there a fix or update I am missing?

How much Free Space do you have?
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
Only way to re-install is to re-install the whole OS 10.13.6
