Apple ID is not letting me download apps

I was wondering why I couldn’t download apps on my phone

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

Unfortunately you have not provided sufficient information for us to propose a solution. Describing what happens when you try, and the exact wording of any error messages, would greatly aid us in helping you. In the meantime see these documents if you think they apply:

If the first 5 don't help, use the 6th.


If instead you see a message that says "Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes" click on this --> https://support.apple.com/HT208856

App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services - If you can't connect


Some things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch         


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device.      


If necessary


Hard reset.        


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting.      


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
