I can not copy from Nunbers to Pages any table

Select the cells containing data from the Numbers table and copy them to the clipboard. In Pages, just paste. Cell colors, formulas, formula results all paste correctly into Pages as a new Pages table.

If you have inserted a blank Pages table, click once to select the first cell, and then paste. The Numbers table contents will fill the existing Pages table.

I haven't been able to copy and paste from Numbers to Pages for several years. There is some strange glitch
