How to make to keep the colour of the folder when creating an Alias?

Hi everyone,

I have customised the colours of my folders as a way to be better organised.

However, when I create an Alias for these folders, the icon appears in the regular blue colour.

This problem appeared since the update to Big Sur, everything was working fine on Catalina.

I know this is not a really serious issue, but it has been bothering me for a while, so at some point, I'd like to find a solution.

Thank you,

Lise

Excellent, this is such an easy solution, I hadn't thought about it!

Thank you very much!

The only difference now is that the icon doesn't have that little arrow at the bottom to indicate it's an alias.

It would be great to find a way to add this too?

Otherwise, this is already a great way to solve this issue.

Thanks again!
