Numbers columns version 10.3.9; Big Sur 11.2.2

I am trying to rearrange my columns.

I followed the instructions given, select a column and then the letter of the column.

The column will not respond. In the same sheet I can follow the same directions for the rows and they respond and I can rearrange them.

I tried on several different spreadsheets in different files and the columns are not responding.

Am I missing something??

  1. Click on the column letter
  2. Click and hold on the column letter until the columns lifts
  3. Drag and drop it elsewhere

Doing rows is the same, except you click then click-hold on the row number

It still works like it used to. If that is the procedure you are following I don't know why it is not working for you.
