How do I add shortcuts to my "Home" for Siri to recognize?

Whether it can work at all will depend somewhat on what steps are in the shortcut. I've made some sample shortcuts on my iPhone that run there, and then work from my HomePod when I say "Hey Siri. <shortcut name>". Not all of them work, some work some of the time.

This is not very helpful...I ran shortcuts with Siri the shortcuts would not work.
