In what directory are Photos stored?

Strange that everything I search seems to come up with a different answer. One, for example, states that my Photos should be stored in:

~/Pictures/Photos Library.photoslibrary/Masters/

I have nothing by that name in my Pictures folder. I also tried to right-click on a picture in Photos, select "get info," and then search the file name in the finder. That also didn't work. (Used to work in OSX.) Would someone kindly guide me to the photos directory on Mac?

That's unfortunate. Thanks for your help!

Well, there are two options.

1) Don't use Photos.

2) Export all of your photos to somewhere else.

Then, disable "copy items to the Photos Library."

Add the photos back into Photos--the files won't be moved from the location you put them.

Those photos will not be available in iCloud Photos, if you use it.
