my apple watch is not turning on. the apple logo just keeps on popping.

My apple watch is not turning on. I tried to do a force reset but the Apple logo just keeps on popping. I tried charging it for at least 24hrs to see if the battery is drained but still not working. No charging sign on the screen except for the Apple logo that keeps popping up.
