Why do I need to provide a phone number for my Apple ID
Recently I've been trying to create an altarnate apple id for personal reasons, but it's been asking me for a phone number. Why do you need a phone number to create an apple id, wtf apple??? When someone buys their first phone how do you expect them to open an apple ID then.
Anyways, is there a way to make a new apple id without a phone number? Living with overprotective parents that won't leave me alone till I'm 18 I do not own a phone and am expected to provide a phone number.
