The fan on my MBP 13" (early2015) is running at full as soon as the computer powers up. There are no apps running except Brave (to type this) and the case is COLD. The CPU temp is 29-32 deg.C
I assuming a faulty temp sensor but which one and how do I find out. I have run Etrecheck and there is no mention of temperature problems. And yes I have reset the SMC several times.

You can hold the key combination for a 3-4 sequence of the reset to force the point— no harm in doing this.
Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

Etrecheck finds lots of issues, but it is not designed to find temp sensor problems. Its report is pre-laundered of personally-identifiable information, and can be posted here using the "additional text" icon in the reply footer (looks like a paper with writing).
Run the diagnostic if you suspect a bad sensor.
