Purchasing apps using my Apple Id balance
How do i use my apple id balance to purchase an app on my phone when it requires me to verify payment method, it only lets me add money and redeem cards

Apple may require you enter a valid payment method (e.g., a credit card) just for "verification" purposes. If you have enough Apple ID balance to pay for your item the card won't actually be used and you can remove it again.
