Deleting My Places in Maps.

I have tried repeatedly to delete old places in My Places. They will delete on the device I am using only to reappear later. What is the process for deleting them permanently?

I am not talking about significant places or places visited. I am talking about "My Places" in Maps, which are saved by the used. I can delete them on my computer or on my phone....but the deleted ones keep reappearing at a later date.

I'm sure you have tried this: Delete significant locations on iPhone - Apple Support. Now if you no longer have these locations recorded, please see the following article: https://www.payetteforward.com/iphone-significant-locations-what-it-means-how-to-turn-off/

Sorry I did not understand your purpose. There is is article that purport to control toy location (https://macreports.com/view-manage-your-location-history-on-your-iphone-significant-locations/) but, to be honest, if you want to be absolutely sure your location is not tracked, you'll have to turned off Locations off your phone.
