IPHONE 7 PLUS MICROPHONE HAS STOPPED WORKING DURING PHONE CALLS

Dear Apple support team,

lately I am facing a serious problem with the microphone of my iphone 7 plus. During calls, incoming or outgoing I can't hear or be heard.

I tried out some tests to be sure such as video or voice recording without any success.

I searched the internet for this issue and I was astonished to find out that lots of iphone 7 users face just the same issue.

It seems to me that this problem is not due to any failure of my phone, but it is a general problem either of the software or of the hardware.

Kindly advise for next steps.

We are not apple, just users like you.

There was a problem, fixed in iOS 14.0.1

After that it’s down to your phone breaking down with a fault.

arrange a repair

https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service

Anything other than Screen or Battery will be a replacement phone and the price will depend on your warranty status. Ie out of warranty discounted replacement
