how to turn bluetooth off on my ios SE; have turned it off in settings, is there something else I need to do?

there is a line through the bluetooth symbol in the control center so will assume it is truly off.
I want to turn off bluetooth because I read online that having bluetooth on makes the phone vulnerable.
