Decompressing zip files

How do I decompress a Zip file on iOS? I have an iPad Air 1 and an iPhone 5S both running iOS 12.5.2, and I can’t seem to figure out how to do it on either of them.

iPad Air, iOS 12

If you can't use the instructions I posted, search for a 3rd party app on App Store (i.e. Unzip) and download it (checking that that app is compatible with iOS 12.5.2).

Or there are applications that manage documents that have such options (I still use Documents By Readdle to do that).
