That's sad to hear. You can use your Apple ID and Find My app or iCloud to locate the MacBook.

If you have an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the Find My app and tap Devices.
  2. Next, tap your MacBook's name, and you will see its live location. In case the MacBook is shut down or in sleep mode, you will see the last location. Also, make sure to see other options there.

If you do not have an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Visit iCloud.com using any Mac or PC.
  2. Login using the same Apple ID that is on your lost MacBook.
  3. Click Find iPhone > select your Mac > and here you will see various options.
