How do you utilize "do not disturb" function while USING iPHONE?

Do Not Disturb can be set to not ring calls, messages or notifications when active by setting the Silence option to Always in Settings->Do not Disturb.
You can also set the "Allow Calls From" to No One, so no calls are let through.
