Move --not copy-- files from Mac to iCloud

air. The drive is getting awfully crowded. What can I do? Thanks.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

You can try Optimizing Storage. Go to System Preferences/iCloud (Apple ID for Catalina or later) and in the iCloud Drive line, click Options. Then click Optimize Storage.
