Accessing emails in Finder Folders from iPad

I store emails in document / Finder folders (not email folders) along with other related files such as word docs. I do this on my MacBook Pro. When I try to access the emails in the Folder on my iPad, I can't and am only able to see the attached. I can see the emails in the Folders when on MacBook Pro.

To my knowledge, you can't read EML files on iPads, unless you use a 3rd party app from App Store (i.e. EML Viewe‪r).
