It's way past time to upgrade from the iPad 2 my wife had been happily using when she goes to JigsawPlanet.com. That application is demanding Google Chrome, or it will not operate. If we do a small upgrade to iPad 4th Gen will we be able to install Google Chrome and get back to being able to use JigsawPlanet.com?

Thank you for this PROMPT reply! I understand now that my search must now expand to MUCH newer iPad models, and perhaps even the newest iPad 8th Gen Apple just released. Your technical assistance on this one is GREATLY appreciated!
Not that much newer. The First Gen iPad Air is the immediate successor to the 4th Generation iPad and was released in 2013.
There are 5 other regular iPads between that and the current 8th gen.
There's also 3 iPad Minis before you get to the current 5th gen.
The 2014 model will work, but if you want it to last more than a couple of years, I'd go for slightly newer. Does not need to be the current 8th gen. A 5th or 6th generation iPad should be enough.
