I simply don’t want it, but on settings on my iPhone it will not let me undo this setting, I.e 2 factor authentication it is uneditable.
I do not want 2 factor on any device at all so how do I remove it completely?

If it has been two weeks or less since you enabled it, you can turn it off. If you are past that two week threshold, you can not turn it off.

Once activated I'm afraid it is not reversible.
