Macbook pro comparison

Can anyone tell me why the newer 13" macbook pro with the M1 chip are cheaper than the "older" ones with the traditional type processors? Which is better?

We are users like you. We are not privy to nor can we speculate about Apple's pricing policies.

As to which is better, it depends on your computing needs. For example, if you need to run Windows the the Intel Mac is better since the M1 Mac can not run Windows.

You have to compare RAM and Storage...





You can upgrade both RAM and Storage at the point of purchase; this will skew the price comparison even further.
