How to pair bluetooth hearing aids to iMac

Sorry but you will need to contact the hearing aid mfg. to learn how to put the hearing aides in Pairing Mode. Once they are in pairing mode then please follow the instructions below:

1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth.
2. Wait while your Mac searches for your device. When your device appears in Bluetooth preferences, click Pair

Why then can I easily pair with my Iphone? I believe apple should come up with a fix. If they can do it on the Iphone, why not the more powerful Mac book pro/. My manufacture states that my hearing aids are in the pairing mode.
