how to download or update QuickTime player new version which is compatible?

You could check the audio codec in QT Player > Get Info. AAC and PCM should be cross-platform codecs and .m4a or maybe .aif wrappers. If QT Player does not play the audio file, try other apps like VLC or IINA. p.s. this is a user-to-user forum.

compatible with other computers. Because I did my audio recording on my MacBook Pro and sent the audio file.. my tutor could not access the file. Talked to one of your team member and he said it could be outdated. I tried to upgrade QuickTime version 10 but it doesn't.

so I don't know what's happening here. why QuickTime is there when nobody is able to access the audio file.
