about password to download any application

First time , I am using MacBook Air M1 and I am facing lot problems with it because I don't know how to use Mac.

My most important question is when I download any application, it is asking password but I don't know what password it is. because of it , I am unable to download any kind of application. therefore, I kindly request you to help me with it. Thank you

If you are purchasing apps in the app store, you need your Apple ID and password to sign into iCloud/iTunes/App store.


if you have an app downloaded and get a prompt for the admin password when trying to install it, you need your admin password (which is what you use when you log into your Mac computer).
