behind in software updates, mac

Hi, my MacBook Pro 2017 13inch is running on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, roughly three years old. I need to update my mac to at least macOS 10.15.7, however my Macbook doesn't show any updates available. Do i need to go through and update each update throughout the timeline? or can i skip updates. Or is there an easier solution.

I look forward to your ideas

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on Catalina or Big Sur. They're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list.
