A forced-restart of your iPad may be helpful - as this will often resolve an isolated software issue:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

What appears on-screen differs slightly between models. The illustration provided by Apple is representative of a current-model iPad Pro with the largest screens. Models with smaller screens look pretty much as shown in your screenshot.

What appears to be missing from the screenshot are many of the “locations” in which your files may be found. Tap the ellipsis icon (...) - and then the Edit Sidebar option. From here you can enable/disable various file locations - which may look a little like this...

Simply enable the “locations” that you want to see - then tap Done.
