Problem with previous purchase.

Have been able to download apps perfectly fine then out of nowhere, when I try to download even a free app, it says there was a problem with a previous purchase. I haven’t bought a application in over 5 years and all the apps since have been free. I have no debit card or credit card on file for my iPad and was downloading apps fine until now.

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

Just to make sure there's nothing listed, click on the link to 'See your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store' --> http://support.apple.com/HT204088

If there is then "Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple" read this link --> https://support.apple.com/HT204084

plus start wondering how it got there. Change your password.

You can also contact Apple and ask about this:

Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region/media-services Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

or:

Contact Apple for support and service --> "See a list of Apple phone numbers around the world."
