Just bought an older MacMini 2010 from DVWareHouse it only has OS X 10.9.5... I need to upgrage to same as my other two MacMini's which are 10.13.6
I tried to download update from apple but it fails to install.
All Help would be appreciated.

When I click on High Sierra below (from How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support ), it opens Safari and redirects me to the App Store and when I click on the "Open App Store" button it then opens the High Sierra download.
Safari uses these links to find the old installers in the App Store. After downloading from the App Store, the installer opens automatically.
High Sierra 10.13.6 is the last version that a 2010 Mini can upgrade to. See instructions in How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support
I finally got it to work. I had to quit Safari (it was still open) and trashed the old download file. found the Install OS10.13 app in Applications folder,double tapped it and it began to install.... without problems, finally finished the updates late last night so All is good now. I thank everyone that made suggestions. FoxFifth for the link to the OS installer! My installer fr some time ago said it had a problem (it was old I think). Anyway all is good!

Well I thought that would let me download a coopy of 10.13.6.... But no it sends me over to App store where 10.13.6 is nowhere at all, only Big Sur!
Any other suggestions?
I'm downloading 10.12 will see if it will let me go up to 10.13 after it is installed....
It did that time, before it would open up to Big Sur... Downloading 10.13 finally, 10.12 did nothing, it said it upgraded to 10.12, but it didn't really. Will try 10.13 as soon as it downloads.
Well it started to let me download it, half way thru it crashed and now we are back to Big Sur page only!!!!
Ah well the 10.13.6 is the update to 19.13, won't upgrade from 10.9, any other ideas?
Sorry, the only other idea I have would be to contact Apple Support.
