My Mac is showing a lot of storage usage for "Macintosh HD — Data" - it is occupying 106.82 GB while "Macintosh HD" only occupying 11.38GB. My Hard disk capacity is 121 GB so I am running out of storage very quickly and not able to install the latest updates.
How do I free up more storage? My media is only about 5 GB and I don't even run video games in this machine so I really don't know what is occupying this space. Thank you

completely separate from all other data to help prevent the accidental overwriting of critical operating system files.
Your files and data are stored in another volume named Macintosh HD - Data.
In the Finder, both volumes appear as Macintosh HD.”
Storage
A user has no control over “Other” category of storage.
Other: Contains files that don’t fall into the categories listed here. This category primarily includes files and data used by the system, such as log files, caches, VM files, and other runtime system resources. Also included are temporary files, fonts, app support files, and plug-ins. You can't manage the contents of this category. The contents are managed by macOS, and the category varies in size depending on the current state of your Mac.

1. Delete files

Click the “Manage”button. Wait until Green “Completed” button appears.
