Does it remain after a restart?

Doe the line move or shift if your change the tilt angle of the display while the screen is on?

Generally vertical lines are a serious hardware fault and cannot be fixed at home. The 2013 models are now listed as "vintage" and Apple may evaluate but will not work on them. You can have an independent provide evaluate but even he may not be able to get parts.

A fault in a Retina display requires an new display unit; the display, its case, cover, and all cabling are one sealed unit, so expect a large parts cost.
