macOS startup

My Mac for some reason doesn’t start up macOS

but instead only has windows. I tried command r and it didn’t work. I never installed bootcamp on it

I accidentally clicked the erase volume stuff instead of the whole disk.

Erasing the "volume stuff" and erasing the whole disk would result in erasing the OS.

Hold down cmd-Opt-R to boot into Internet Recovery.

From there you will likely need to create a new Macintosh HD volume, but you can check in Disk Utility.

Then, either restore from you backup or reinstall macOS.

Yeah I meant to say I did install bootcamp. And I regretted the decision. I was trying to get rid of of it. And restoring from time machine didn’t work. So I erased the main drive to get rid of windows so I can use the full SSD. Then I erased it again and I accidentally clicked the erase volume stuff instead of the whole disk.

How did you install Windows if you didn't use Bootcamp?

If you just installed windows without using bootcamp, it erased the drive and installed windows on it.
