Apple Watch across countries
I plan to buy an Apple Watch series 6 but will be moving to Germany later this year. Will the functions like SOS and other bits work in Germany if it is paired to a new iPhone in Germany with a similar carrier eg O2?

If you buy a watch the warranty is only good for the country it was bought in,secondly if it's a cellular watch you will need to find a network provider that supports the cellular watch.
My advice to you would be to wait until you move to Germany and buy both watch and phone there.
