Change 'read only' permission on Seagate external drive

I cannot copy files from my Macbook (Big Sur 11.3.1) to my Seagate external drive because the permission is still 'read only'.

I read on the internet I needed the latest version of 'NTFS for Mac' in order to make it work. Unfortunately nothing changed. When I go to 'Get Info' and look under 'Sharing & Permissions' it still says 'you can only read'.

Also the checkbox 'ignore ownership on this volume' is missing (see pic below). I read similar stories on the internet, however without any solution.

Who has the solution? Without having to reformat my entire disk?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.3
