Another sorta 'lazy-way' to accomplish somewhat similar idea would

be to use "Launchpad" from the Dock, to see & run apps from there.

Not so long ago in computer years, too many icons on the desktop

could slow performance in Macs; later improvements fixed that.

To surmise and muse: The concept of viewing several icons and symbiotic links

on the Desktop at once, is truly possible with Launchpad. Perhaps the issue here

remains with ineffectual asking; and not the supply of various workable ideas??

This indeed qualifies as an 'undisciplined' attempt to identify an issue.

While distant non-apple 'uncompensated volunteers' who try; merely
