App Passwords do not display on iPhone and iPad

I've owned an iPhone (and iPad, for space I'll just say iPhone hereafter) virtually since the first one came out. App passwords do not appear and have never appeared on my iPhone, regardless of model iPhone or version of iOS. Website passwords are listed and appear and function properly. However, even though I have app passwords that are definitely stored on my iPhone (I click on the password-requiring app and it logs me in just fine), I have never been able to view these passwords. I cannot find my iPhone/iPad app passwords in keychain on my Mac either, even though I have keychain selected for sync on all devices.

I elaborated on the above just to emphasize that this is not an iPhone model-specific, patch-specific, iOS specific, or app-specific issue. As such, restarting the iPhone, updating various software, deselecting, then reselecting keychain sync by device, etc., have been tried and have consistently failed to fix the issue.

Currently, I am on an iPhone 11, with iOS 14.4, with keychain and cloud sync and backup enabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

iOS/iPadOS Keychain is not a full password management solution; stored credentials are essentially for websites and online services. For iPad and iPhone, App and individual document passwords are not supported. Keychain functionality is considerably more flexible in macOS.

If you require a full password management solution, there are many third-party Password Manager Apps available - such as the popular 1Password App:
