Why has my MacBook Air 2020's battery longevity started reducing quickly?

It depends on how it is being used. 20 Tabs open in Browser, several intensive Application open etc. If just using maybe one for two Applications at the same time - Open Activity Monitor resides in Other Folder in Launchpad. Once Open >> View >> View ALL processes and check the CPU tab - looking for runaway process using abnormal amount of CPU - and have a look in the Memory tab for unusually large amount of Memory usage. You might have a process or application not functions properly.
