safari and app store not responding

safari and app store have stopped respoding at the same time on my macbook air it is updated to the latest bigsur still i am facing trouble.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.3

Go step by step and test.


1. Restart the router.


2. Deselect Proxies, if selected.

   System Preference > Network > Advanced  > Proxies Tab

   Unlock the lock if you have to.

   Under "Select  a protocol…”, uncheck any box if check-marked.

   Click "OK” then  "Apply”.

   


For additional troubleshooting steps:


For example, Safari can’t open a website that uses a protocol other than http or https     

https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/if-you-cant-open-a-website-ibrw1071/mac
