VPN app

I have a pop up on my iPhone screen that wants me to download a VPN from the app store. Is this a legitimate request or is it a phishing attempt? I have an iPhone SE.

It’s almost certainly a scam. If you have an anti-virus package on your iPhone (hopefully you do not), there’s a small chance you’re being asked to supplement it.
