According to the helpdesk iphon6 should pair with apple watch series 2, but I keep getting "iphone needs latest software" and when you go to update it says "you have the latest software"
Anyone got any ideas please
No you cannot downgrade,and you could ask the person you got the watch off what version of watchos it is.
A watch 2 will only update to WatchOS6 maximum.
If the phone says needs latest software it is talking about ios13 or higher.
so how do i tell what OS the watch is running, and if it is OS6 or higher, can I "downgrade" ?
They will only pair if the watch has WatchOS5 or lower.
An apple watch2 with watchos6 requires a phone with at least ios13 or higher,an iphone6 will only update to ios12.
