iphoto macbook air
what software has the same capabilities as iphoto and isn't the iphoto library stored on the cloud? I just got a new macbook air and would like to have the capability to edit and print photos.

Photos.
The cloud element in Photos is to facilitate sharing across devices. If you don't wan that then simply don't use. That leaves you with an app that's pretty much the equivalent of iPhoto.
