So days before QuickTime Pro was the tool to use with very many editing options. Now the Quicktime Version 10.5 (1015.2.1) version exists QuickTime Pro does not exist anymore.

Some features of QuickTime 7 Pro have not been transferred to QuickTime 10. Those features are not available anymore. You will have to find a different editor for some functionality. iMovie has editing capabilities, Final Cut Pro even more.
