phone displays iPhone is locked connect to iTunes and I dont have iTunes downloaded on my mac

I forgot phone passcode. Now its locked and screen shows "iPhone is locked connect to iTunes" and I dont have iTunes downloaded on my Mac

Macs that are running macOS Catalina or Big Sur do not have iTunes. iTunes was discontinued and replaced by other apps. You can use the procedure in If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support and it will use Finder instead of iTunes.
