(Verizon) told me that Apple said my phone has been reported stolen?

I was trying to trade in my iPhone XS and my service provider (Verizon) told me that Apple said my phone has been reported stolen? I am the original owner. How can I find out from Apple who reported my phone lost or stolen? How can I get the lost or stolen brand off my phone?

I would go back to Verizon to get more information about this. Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen phones. A phone can be reported to the carrier that it was stolen. The carrier would then blacklist the phone so that it can’t be used. If you have the phone in your possession and did not report it stolen then you need to find out why they said it was stolen.
