Apple Watch overheating won’t charge

My Apple Watch went dead today...every time I place it on the charger it overheats and won’t charge. I’ve tried to reboot but it’s just showing a black screen. When I charge it within 5 mins the temp symbol appears and it’s very hot. Any suggestions?

Apple Watch overheating My Apple Watch starts to charge then gets overheated and shuts down. I see it connected to charging portal and then the temperature gauge comes on screen and watch shuts down. Anyone have this issue or know how to resolve?
