will the macbook pro and macbook air with m1 chips support 2 external monitors natively without any Displaylink device in the future?

will the macbook pro and macbook air with m1 chips support 2 external monitors natively without any Displaylink device in the future? I ready don't want to purchase any expensive DisplayLink Device to achieve that. Will any software update fix this problem or is it hardware dependent?

Thanks in advance.

The M1 MacBook Pro and the M1 MacBook Air, natively support only 1 external display along with 1 internal display. Neither one of these computers support 2 external displays. This is not going to change.
